If you close your eyes and let the music affect you, images and emotions will appear to you. That's because each piece was created by holding a specific picture in mind, and meditating on it until a strong emotion emerged. Spontaneous music was then improvised and allowed to flow from that place, and captured on tape. This raw music was then molded and shaped and enhanced, each compositional session beginning first with a meditation, calling forth the original image and emotion. Just as in your dreams pictures and stories emerge from feelings deep down, so does the music in "Awakening the Dream" and "Sunfall and Rainlight", emerge from this place. The exact descriptions of the original images are a secret. But the clues are in the titles, and if you allow yourself to open as you listen, the pictures will appear. As a collection, these pictures will tell you a story. It will lead you on a sensual journey, to Peaceful Waterwheels, and Dragonfly Meadows, and invite you to Awaken, perhaps a Dream that's been Asleep.
